Christina Kirkland is actually my real name just with my first name dropped.

Current Projects:
(1) Awakening ( Focusing mostly on this project)

(3) A collection of pieces that don't need to be in Awakening, but I didn't want to get rid of them either so I am making an anthology of them.

Alright then, I prefer to go by Athena Nightingale as my pen name. Real name is Brenda. I'm a skyrim fan and Athena is the greek goddess of wisdom.

I love my writing as it gives me an outlet for my life. I mostly write fantasy and science fiction, if i had to choose one i would say fantasy is my stronger point. I also like doing free verse poetry.

I like mostly alternative rock, techno, and celtic music. I love movie and game soundtracks. I am doing college for a degree in English that I hope to follow up with a teaching license. I prefer to learn through books than sit through a lecture on a subject except for math and in that case i will always be lost.

I love my family even though they drive me crazy, but hey they are still family. I have a close group of friends that I would call my second family that I've known for years and wouldn't trade them for the world, again no matter how much they cause me to go crazy.

Beginning of September Update

I am in the process of creating my own website. I will post the address once I have it done. I am also beginning a class on Skillshare on creating a fictional world. I am also starting a channel on YouTube. My first thing on YouTube will be prep for NaNoWriMo on different subjects. I have acquired some beta readers for my fantasy WIP. I am also becoming more productive again. My anxiety is still a bit out of control sometimes, but I have a very nice person helping me work through it.
